Nawaz-League emerges as leading party

KARACHI: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has emerged as the leading party as ballot count continues across Pakistan.

Imran Khan�s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf appeared to be the second larger party and the Pakistan People�s Party on third position, losing ground in Punjab with its heavy weights like Raja Pervez Ashraf and Manzoor Wattoo being defeated.

PML-N chief, in what was seen as victory speech, urged a crowd gathered outside his residence to pray for a absolute majority so that party doesn�t need crutch of coalition partners.

He announced that they forgive all those who hurled abuse at them during the election campaign.
