Event in Hartford now in its 2nd year
HARTFORD -- A group of Muslim men and boys will offer a chance to ask believers in Islam about their religion at the second annual Meet a Muslim Day on Saturday.
The event, which will include a blood drive, is sponsored by Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, the young men�s organization of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, is one of 80 across the nation to spread understanding of the Islamic faith, according to a press release.
�As active and engaged Americans, our mission is to always promote dialogue and understanding between all people,� said Bilal Rana, national president of AMYA, in the release.
