USA: Chino Ahmadiyya Muslims to honor 9/11 victims

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will host a blood drive at 5 p.m. and community dinner at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11 in honor of those who lost their lives during the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001.

The event will be held at Baitul Hameed Mosque in Chino, 11941 Ramona Ave.

As of 2015, the Muslims for Life campaigns held across the country have collected 39,477 pints, enough to have saved as many as 118,431 lives, said Imam Muhammed Zafarullah of the Chino mosque.

The imam stated, �The Holy Qur�an teaches us about the sanctity of life by saying, �whosoever gives life to one, it shall be as if he has given life to all mankind.� �
