SYRACUSE - In an effort to build bridges between the muslim community and their neighbors, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association organized the second national "Meet a Muslim Day".
Central New Yorkers gathered at the Regional Market in Syracuse holding signs that read "Meet a Muslim. Ask me anything."
They're encouraging conversations about their faith and culture.
"We're just trying to have a cordial conversation with everyone and dispel some common myths about Islam and just ask 'how's your day going?'" Faheem Nasar explains.
